TRAVEL
When should I plan to arrive at the Summit?
We encourage attendees to arrive before noon on Sunday so that you can enjoy planned networking and entertainment options (golf tournament and poolside cabana reception), as well as pick up their registration materials.
How do I get to the hotel from the airport?
The Bellagio is less than ten minutes away from the Las Vegas airport. Cabs are readily available there to take you to the hotel.

When should I plan on departing from Las Vegas?
The conference concludes at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, October 30th and your room will be paid through Wednesday morning. Therefore, you should plan to fly out on Wednesday morning.
What will the weather be like?
Fall is the perfect time to visit Las Vegas. The average high temperature is 82 degrees and the average low is 55.
What time zone is Las Vegas in?
Las Vegas is Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) — Three hours earlier than the east coast.

What time is check out at the Bellagio?
Check out time is 12:00 noon. The Bell Desk can store your luggage if needed.
What nights are included in the package?
Your Summit 12 conference registration includes three nights at the Bellagio: Sunday, Oct. 28, Monday, Oct. 29, and Tuesday, Oct. 30. There is no change in cost if you elect to stay for less than these three nights, so we encourage everyone to stay for the full duration of the Summit.
Can I arrive early?
If you would like additional accommodations either before or after the Summit, you will need to contact hotel room reservations directly at 888-987-6667 to extend your stay. We cannot guarantee availability or room rates for additional nights.
What is paid for at the hotel?
Your room and tax at the Bellagio will be covered. You will be responsible for any incidental charges.
Can my spouse join me at the conference?
Yes. Your spouse is welcome to stay in your room with you for the duration of the conference. For an additional fee, they may join you at the golf tournament ($100), the poolside cabana reception ($25) and the Monday night cocktail reception (cost TBD). All additional fees will be included on your registration form.
How far is the conference center from the guest rooms?
The guest room elevators are two to three minutes away from the conference center. You will have time to go back to your room as the need arises throughout the Summit.
Is there a business center in the hotel?
Yes. The business center is close by our meeting space. For specific information about the business center, contact them directly at (888) 987-7111, extension 7070 or bsc@bellagioresort.com.
What is there to do at the hotel?
The Bellagio is one of the most comfortable and desirable hotels in Las Vegas. During your free time, you will have access to gourmet restaurants such as Le Cirque and Prime Steakhouse, upscale shops including Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Hermes, and Tiffany & Co., relaxing pool areas, and soothing spas.
REGISTRATION
What does my conference fee include?
Your conference registration fee of $1,799 will include admission to all of the Summit educational sessions, access to the Business Solutions Expo and the Technical Support Center, as well as room and tax for three nights at the Bellagio. Entertainment options and training classes require an additional fee.
What is the cancellation policy?
The cancellation policy is as follows:
- Cancellation received by July 30, 2007 (90 days from the Summit) – full refund.
- Cancellation received by August 31, 2007 (60 days from the Summit) – 75% refund.
- Cancellation received by September 15, 2007 (45 days from the Summit) – 50% refund.
- Cancellation received by September 30, 2007 (30 days from the Summit) – 25% refund.
We recognize that there are situations beyond your control that might prevent you from attending the Summit. We will make every attempt to give you a refund as long as it does not cause us to incur any extra costs on our end.
Is the conference fee reduced if I leave early?
No. Since this is a package deal, you will automatically be registered for these three nights at the Bellagio Las Vegas regardless of your arrival/departure date.
What if I have dietary requirements?
Please make a note on your registration form and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
What if I need wheelchair access or other special needs?
Please make a note on your registration form and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. The Bellagio Las Vegas works diligently to stay in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
CONFERENCE
What is the dress code for Summit 12?
The dress code for the sessions is business casual. Appropriate attire is suggested for the golf and poolside cabana reception.
What will be going on at night during the conference?
We have purposely not filled every evening at the Summit in order to give attendees some “down time” and the opportunity to network and spend time with their colleagues. Sunday and Tuesday are open nights. On Monday night, there is an outdoor cocktail reception on the Grand Patio. The reception ends at 7:00 pm and you will have the rest of the evening to do what you choose.
What meals are included?
At the conference, you will be provided with breakfast, lunch, and two coffee breaks on both Monday and Tuesday. There will be food at both of the entertainment options on Sunday afternoon and also at the cocktail reception on Monday night.
Can I rent clubs for golf?
Yes. For an additional fee, you can rent clubs on site at the golf tournament.
What refreshments can I expect to receive at the poolside cabana reception?
Each guest will receive two drink tickets along with complimentary soft drinks and snacks.
Is there smoking at the conference?
There is no smoking at any Summit sessions or events. There are designated areas in the Bellagio casino where you can smoke. Alternatively, you can go out the exit nearest to our meeting rooms.
Can I leave early?
Yes, but you will miss out on:
- Tuesday afternoon sessions
- Deal or No Deal closing reception
- Closing announcements
Can I get the attendee list before the conference?
We respect the privacy of our attendees and therefore do not publish the attendee list. However, we will publish a list of the companies attending the Summit. If there is a company that you wish to speak with, just drop by the registration desk, and we will do our best to connect you with them.
How can someone get a message to me during the conference?
We will have a message board by the registration desk. You will also be able to check your email at the Cyber Café.
What if I want to contact fellow attendees after the Summit?
There will be ample time to network with the other attendees while at the Summit. Make sure to get for business cards so that you can follow up with contacts that you meet. We respect the privacy of our attendees and therefore do not give out the attendee list.
SESSIONS
Will I be able to interact with session presenters?
All of the presenters will be available during the remainder of the Summit, breaks, and receptions.
Will you be providing printed copies of the PowerPoint presentations?
Yes. When you register for the Summit, you will receive a package with all of the PowerPoint presentations.
Will recordings of the sessions be available?
No session recordings are planned at this time. However, if we do decide to record the sessions and make them available, we will let you know.
Can I get CPE Credits?
Yes. In order to receive the credits, you will need to sign in at each session that you attend. More information will be available about the number of credits per sessions as the agenda is finalized. For more information about CPE credits, click here.
How do I get my CPE Credits?

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
I am an ADP customer. Will I find value in attending Summit 12?
Yes. We have been part of the ADP family since November 2006. Summit 12 is the best opportunity to meet and mingle with one of ADP’s newest divisions and learn about our transaction tax solutions. There will also be an opportunity to learn about additional ADP products that you may not be using.
I attended the Summit last year. Is there enough new information for me to attend again this year?
Each year at the Summit, we go to great lengths to refresh the session topics and introduce new material. Now that we are part of ADP, we have many new offerings and events to introduce to our attendees.

I am a first time attendee, what advice can you give me?
As a first-time attendee, you should take some time to study the session schedule in advance and choose the sessions that you would like to attend. While at the Summit, you should:
- Learn about industry business solutions and resources at the Business Solutions Expo
- Have a one-on-one meeting with ADP Taxware's technical experts and get your questions answered at the Technical Support Center
- Participate in a hands-on training class
- Bring an additional person from your company. If you are from the tax department, you should bring a member of your IT department with you. This way, your company will benefit from the breadth of information provided at the Summit
- Take some time to learn about the range of solutions that ADP has to offer
SPEAKERS
I am interesting in becoming a presenter. What do I need to do to apply?
We receive a lot of requests from potential speakers. We will evaluate them all and make a decision by Friday, July 27th. Click here to fill out our Speaker Application.
I’m a speaker, is there anything special that I need to do?
Yes. Please submit your bio and high-resolution, digital photo (EPS, TIFF, or JPEG) to Alyssa Napoleon at alyssa_napoleon@adp.com by September 14th, 45 days in advance of the Summit.
Is there a template for the slides?
Yes. For consistency purposes, we have developed a PowerPoint template for all presenters. Contact Alyssa Napoleon at alyssa_napoleon@adp.com.
What if I have special AV requirements?
We will do our best to accommodate your special needs. Please make note of your AV needs when you fill out the Speaker Application. Or, contact Alyssa Napoleon at alyssa_napoleon@adp.com as soon as you are aware of any special requirements.
Is there a special conference rate for speakers?
As a thank you to our speakers, we would like to offer you a rate of $1,299. When registering online, please choose “Speaker” to receive this rate.
SPONSORS/EXHIBORS
Is there a special conference rate for sponsors?
Each sponsorship level includes a certain number of registrations. The Platinum level includes three registrations, Gold includes two, and Silver includes one. Any additional registrations will be at the regular conference rate of $1,599.
What’s included in the booth sponsorship?
Visit the Sponsorship Item Descriptions page which lists everything that is included in your sponsorship.
What time should I arrive to set up the booth?
Room setup will be available on Sunday, October 28th from 12:00 noon – 7:00 pm. Refreshments will be provided.
What time should I tear down the booth?
The Tuesday night reception ends at 5:00 pm and tear down will be after that. Reminder: all rooms are paid for through Tuesday night.
Who do I contact about setting up electrical or anything additional for the booth?

Where is the Business Solutions Expo being held?
This year, the Business Solutions Expo will be located inside the main ballroom so that it's at the very heart of the Summit. The ballroom is where attendees will gather for general sessions, meals and breaks and where the Technical Support Center is located. With this year's layout, the Business Solutions Expo is assured of a steady stream of traffic throughout the event.
Can exhibitors attend the sessions?
Yes. We encourage sponsors and exhibitors to attend the sessions. Exceptions are training classes which are for current ADP Taxware customers.
TRAINING
If I take a training class, will I have my own computer?
Yes. Our Training Center is set up so that every trainee has his or her own laptop to use.
Will the training be improved this year?
Yes. Due to the popularity of the training classes last year, we have improved the training center to accommodate all of our needs. We do not expect any performance issues this year.
PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS
I am not yet a customer but I am considering an ADP solution, should I attend Summit 12?
Yes. Every person and resource that can answer questions about ADP Taxware products and services will be there including IT, tax, and implementation questions. There is no faster way to learn everything you need to know. It’s also a good opportunity to bring your tax, IT or CFO so that together, you can make a better buying decision.
What if I want to set up a private meeting to talk in depth to a sales person?
There will be private meeting rooms available where you can have in-depth discussions as needed.
What if I have specific questions?
Spend some time in the ADP Taxware booth where you will have access to our tax and IT specialists or visit the Technical Support Center. Both will be located in the main ballroom for fast and easy access.
I am currently using another transaction tax solution and I’m not happy, should I attend Summit 12?
Yes. Summit 12 will be a great opportunity for you to compare and contrast your solution with what ADP Taxware has to offer.
